This weeks books are:

Time Masters: Vanishing Point #2 (of 6)

Return of Bruce Wayne: A Wish List

With the impending return of Bruce Wayne and everything that’s going to shake up Gotham and the DCU in the process, I have a few things that I want to see happen. This is not a list of who Bruce needs to square off against or what threat needs to be handled, this is a list of how Bruce and the Bat-Family in general will be received one they are all reunited. Granted, I don’t expect to have this list fulfilled to completion, but these are things that I would like to see get more attention than just a panel or two. They mostly deal with the relationships between Bruce and his team.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse Glimpse

Hello All -

As I was stumbling my way through Twitter, I came across DCU Movie Page and the tweet "Look at the heroes of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse." Well, needless to say, when I saw not one, but THREE links to let me pass into the magical realm of knowledge, I clicked away, and looky looky what I found!!

Look how pretty!!! I gasped out loud when I saw what Bruce Timm and his team have in store for us next time around. This the most faithful artist to animation interpretation we've seen from the DC Animated movies. Michael Turner was a master of his craft and I'm very pleased for them to pay such homage to his legacy.

Shameless plug: For those interested in Jeph Loeb's original story Superman/Batman: The Supergirl from Krypton then check out Thought Bubble Audio for their soon to be released radio production of this very story!

I have always been a fan of this story, and I'm very glad to see the way this movie is playing out. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse goes on sale September 27, 2010.

Superman/Batman II

The next movie in the ever popular line of DC Animated Movies has been officially announced as Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. The movie is based on the second story arc of Jeph Loeb's run on Superman/Batman entitled, "The Supergirl from Krypton." The movie will be released on DVD and blu-ray on September 28th.

Look at this cover art!!

Cool, right?

Age of TV Heroes

Hey there Gotham,

This didn't quite make it to the podcast, but I did want to let you all know that Age of TV Heroes HC is on it's way to some comic shops and books stores this week. It is not being published by DC Comics, but does feature some of our favorite DC Heroes including Batman!

Here is the full description:

"Age of TV Heroes examines the history of the live-action television adventures of everyone's favorite comic book heroes! This volume features the in-depth stories of the actors and behind-the-scene players that made the classic super-hero television programs we all grew up with. From The Adventures of Superman and Batman to The Tick and Smallville, it's colorfully presented in vivid detail, lavishly designed with a bevy of color photographs. Included are new and exclusive interviews and commentary from Adam West (Batman), Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), William Katt (The Greatest American Hero), Jack Larson (The Adventures of Superman), and many more. "

If you are interested in this book, and I know I am, you can pick it up from Amazon.com!
