Just found this podcast--really entertaining stuff. :)
ReplyDeleteOne thing I wanted to point out--the whole "how is Onomatopoeia a chatty Kathy" in Gyre #6 is partially explained at the end of Smith's first mini, Cacophony. The last few pages of it shows Ono going changing out of costume--though we don't see his face--and walking into a quiet, upper-middle class house and we find out that he has a wife, and kids, and apparently he makes his living out of being a street hero assassin. I think we're supposed to infer from this that he can speak more then just sounds--how else could he have a family--it's just that he creates a persona with Ono and that persona only speaks in sounds.
